Sierra Nowak is an award-winning actress, philanthropist, international model and former beauty queen. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California, becoming the first in her family to graduate from college. Currently Sierra works both in front of and behind the camera, she finds joy in producing as it allows her to create opportunities and give a voice to women in film. During the pandemic, she founded Sanctuary Candle Co. a small woman-owned, sustainable candle business. She is passionate about mental health awareness and inspiring young women to pursue entrepreneurship.
You can see Sierra in season 5 of the hit television show Lucifer, and the film Kidnapped to the Island on Lifetime. Most recently, she has been internationally recognized as an actress with her short film, NARC (2021), directed by Tracy “Twinkie” Byrd, which she both starred in and produced. NARC has been accepted into over 10 festivals and has won awards for Best Acting Duo and Best Narrative Micro short. Her feature film, Bitcoin Baby (2022), where she plays the lead, Lola, a petty grifter, is available to stream on Apple TV. Sierra likes to say she is entering her scream queen era with OAK (2025), where Sierra stars alongside Armand Assante and Joey Lauren Adams, and Dead of Night (2025), starring Dermot Mulroney and Scott Grimes, both set to release next year.
She also continues to work in traditional theater and recently portrayed Kate, in Seminar by Theresa Rebeck, directed by Jeremy Luke at Theatre 68 in North Hollywood. Pre-pandemic Sierra studied at The Groundlings Theatre and she continues to study with industry names such as Deborah Aquila and Graham Shiels.
